I hope that this message finds you and your family safe and well in very difficult circumstances. The thoughts of everyone at Choice in particular are with tenants and service users who have been directly affected by Covid -19. I would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone for adhering to the guidance on social distancing and self-isolation. I know these measures are challenging in lots of ways but they are making a real and positive difference.
Rest assured that Choice will do all that we can to support you and your loved ones. Whilst Choice staff are now working from home in line with government guidelines, we are still available by phone, email or social media. Whilst our contractors can only deal with emergency repairs just at the moment, we are liaising closely with them to increase the capacity to do more as hopefully ‘lockdown’ restrictions ease. If you get a request from our contractors to carry out an annual check of essential services in your home, please try to accommodate such a visit if both you and our contractor can adhere to the current health and safety advice.
I have been inspired by the numerous acts of kindness and generosity from tenants during these difficult times. We will share as many as we can via our website and on Facebook and Twitter. Now more than ever we need the support of our communities and support networks and I hope you consider Choice part of yours.
