Our staff fundraising committee have paused at the halfway mark to catch their breath and take stock. Everyone is incredibly encouraged to see that in just 6 months, Choice staff have donated over £4000 to our 2 chosen charities, The Cancer Fund for Children and Air Ambulance.
Each year Choice staff nominate two local charities to support for one year, and the Choice Staff Fundraising Committee set about organising a busy calendar of fundraising events. There is no doubt that the fundraising group has and continues to face huge challenges, from the pandemic to the cost of living crisis, but they have shown ingenuity to create effective events, and they have managed to persuade over 100 staff to participate.
