Today marks World Bee Day! Whilst our bees are small, their impact is huge. These insects support human life on Earth, vital for pollinating the food we eat and supporting entire ecosystems that give us resources and services for our survival.

Unfortunately, our bee populations are suffering, along with a lot of our other pollinating insects. This is due to the pressures of habitat loss and alongside it, the loss of many of their natural food sources.

We’re encouraging our tenants to spend 10 minutes throughout the summer months to take part in a pollinator count. By submitting your bee, butterfly and beetle counts online, you can directly contribute to scientific research and help support the work being done nationally to monitor our pollinators. Every record counts!
