Compliance Audit Manager

 Key purpose of role:

 

Working closely with colleagues and contractors you will ensure that Choice Housing meets all its property and health and safety related statutory and regulatory duties. You will review and develop all policies and procedures relating to statutory and regulatory compliance and the on-going monitoring and reporting of these. In particular you will ensure that all property records are up to date and that the work undertaken is fully evidenced as being compliant. 

 

 Essential Criteria:-

 

  • Detailed knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in relation to the asset management/property services functions undertaken within the housing sector in Northern Ireland.

  • A proven track record of delivering legal compliance and managing servicing arrangements to maintain compliance.

  • Demonstrate experience of monitoring project performance and maintaining accurate records and systems.

 

Desirable Criteria:

 

  • Experience of working within a social housing Asset Management / Property Services Team

  • Experience of providing regular reports to manage and evidence the status of servicing and compliance

  • Demonstrable attention to detail and to comprehensive record keeping to enable all actions to be evidenced and the current position identified

  • A demonstrable commitment to customer service

  • An understanding of the environment in which housing associations operate and the services that they provide to tenants

  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude, with a track record of problem solving

  • Membership of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)

  • Level 4 VRQ CORGI Gas Safety and Management in Social Housing
