 Energy Officer

37 hours/wk

Salary Range £25,500 - £30,600

Choice wishes to appoint an Energy Officer to assist in delivering an excellent energy service to the Associations stakeholders.

Essential Criteria:-

• Further education qualification in a relevant field such as energy or environmental management, or Mechanical Engineering

• At least 1 years’ experience in a relevant field such as maintenance or facilities management OR 6 months in an energy management/advisor role

• Ability to diagnose building defects and interpret drawings, including domestic heating systems

• Knowledge of environmental issues, legislation and funding opportunities and procedures

• Excellent organisational and negotiation skills

• Full current driving licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a driver’s licence.

  Describable Criteria:-

• Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field such as energy or environmental management, or mechanical engineering.
