Essential Criteria:-
3rd level qualification (or equivalent) and; a minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering welfare benefits and money/debt advice Or
Minimum of 2 A-levels (grades A-C) and; a minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering welfare benefits and money/debt advice
Practical knowledge and experience of welfare benefits and money advice
Knowledge of Welfare Reform Act
Ability to identify tenant vulnerabilities which would impact financial capability.
Desirable:-
Welfare rights advice qualification
Completion of Financial capability / advice training
Experience of developing and overseeing the delivery of strategic objectives including Financial Inclusion Strategies and other policy initiatives
An understanding of risk management, particularly those facing the social housing sector.
